In 2014, the Finnish Basketball Association chose Antolainen Consulting to develop the sponsorship program and to find a new head sponsor for the Finnish National Basketball team, “Susijengi”. We responded by sourcing and negotiating a multi-year exclusive global sponsorship deal with Microsoft, which included a multi-brand activation scheme with Lumia, Surface, Xbox and Office products. After successfully completing the two year commercial agreement, we also managed the partnership on behalf of the Finnish National Basketball team.

Antolainen Consulting was also part of a select group of sport industry professionals who advised on the official FIBA World Cup wild card application. The result was a successful one, with “Susijengi” gaining entry into both the 2014 World Cup in Bilbao, Spain and the Eurobasket 2015 in Montpellier, France.
